A family business since 1955, Burnaby Lake Greenhouses has bloomed from a small farm to be the largest provider of quality live plants and cut flowers in Western Canada. With three generations of the family actively involved in the ownership and operations, the company is proud of its heritage and authentic brand story.
During our brand discovery and positioning sessions, challenges and opportunities were identified: The target audience has become increasingly more segmented and demands added value; the company has missed opportunities in communicating its diverse capabilities; and there is an increase of competition in the marketplace.
Our approach in rebranding BLG is to celebrate and honour the company’s legacy all the while embracing the innovations of the future. The revised visual identity attempts to create a tone and personality that aligns with the new brand position: Quiet confidence, unassuming expertise, knowledge of traditional ways, and engagement in new and relevant innovations.
